Hee-sang Kim & Kira Kim feat. Villagers in Hwasoon, Jeollanam-do, South Korea

This project, Hee-sang Kim + Kira Kim, is a collaboration between two Korean artists with different social experiences and artistic practices. The cooperation between the two artists, initiated by the proposal of the LWT project director, Sunyoung Oh, explores how the two artists can meet and lead collaboration as part of a socially collaborative art project. The social function of art is to go beyond the intrinsic value of the individual to reach the social benefits of art. This reflects the reality that individuals and society are dynamically connected. This project, which depicts the process of two artists from different lives reacting to each other and sharing opinions, contains the journey of the artists to find the direction they should go in the future while embracing various perspectives.
